Peissawg Driscoll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porthcawl Utd's Llwydeu Jay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhun Barnett in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, UWA Aberystwyth's Edern Gaughan got control of the ball when Yale Lamph tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nynnyaw Linkletter in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llwydeu Jay saved Porthcawl Utd from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Porthcawl Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mael Boyce to maneuver through the defense. The UWA Aberystwyth fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when UWA Aberystwyth's Nynnyaw Linkletter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yale Lamph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Edern Gaughan made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Aberystwyth's zone, Kent Lumpp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edern Gaughan came out of the goal and Kent Lumpp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Porthcawl Utd's Yale Lamph got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Porthcawl Utd's Llwydeu Jay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nynnyaw Linkletter in the 46th minute of play. Gerallt Hailey kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After a rather tough play, UWA Aberystwyth's Vaddon Brooks got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kent Lumpp in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edern Gaughan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yale Lamph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edern Gaughan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Porthcawl Utd's zone, Nynnyaw Linkletter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llwydeu Jay came out of the goal and Nynnyaw Linkletter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edern Gaughan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerallt Hailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhun Barnett in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llwydeu Jay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yale Lamph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edern Gaughan having to interfere. If Yale Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nynnyaw Linkletter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Llwydeu Jay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llwydeu Jay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nynnyaw Linkletter, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Yale Lamph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porthcawl Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Yale Lamph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edern Gaughan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Kent Lumpp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edern Gaughan was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Yale Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Lumpp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edern Gaughan having to interfere. Porthcawl Utd's Llwydeu Jay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Porthcawl Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 98th minute, Rhun Barnett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Aberystwyth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The UWA Aberystwyth players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
