Gerallt Donoghue came out of the goal and Ysgawyn Burrows tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Gawain Turner made a precise shot to the right of Gerallt Donoghue. Maesteg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to UWA Swansea getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Price Bragg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ysgawyn Burrows in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerallt Donoghue saved Maesteg FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Gwitart Gold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wren Dancy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gruffen Dresser made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ysgawyn Burrows in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerallt Donoghue saved Maesteg FC from getting behind. Gawain Turner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerallt Donoghue having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysgawyn Burrows in the 34th minute of play forced Maesteg FC's goalkeeper Gerallt Donoghue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maesteg FC's Tristan Webster got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Price Bragg during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maesteg FC booed when UWA Swansea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Price Bragg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Maesteg FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Swansea were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calder Jacob to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Ysgawyn Burrows from a close distance when the talented Gerallt Donoghue managed to make a qualified save. Maesteg FC's players were relieved. Greidyawl Waterman struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gerallt Donoghue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Swansea. Ysgawyn Burrows let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 58th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ysgawyn Burrows sped through Maesteg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerallt Donoghue. When Greidyawl Waterman fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Swansea's protests and gave Greidyawl Waterman a yellow card for diving instead. Sel Bowden's late challenge caught a UWA Swansea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sel Bowden helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Calder Jacob sped through UWA Swansea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gruffen Dresser. UWA Swansea's Ysgawyn Burrows got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Greidyawl Waterman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play, UWA Swansea's Ysgawyn Burrows made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerallt Donoghue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gwitart Gold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ysgawyn Burrows sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysgawyn Burrows in the 87th minute of play forced Maesteg FC's goalkeeper Gerallt Donoghue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute UWA Swansea were awarded a corner. Caledvwich Kirby went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91st play minutes Ysgawyn Burrows shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Gerallt Donoghue and just under the crossbar into goal. Gwitart Gold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gruffen Dresser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The UWA Swansea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
