Gwitart Gold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwitart Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gowther Lea having to interfere. Gowther Lea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calder Jacob in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Neath Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Calder Jacob came free, but Gowther Lea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Neath Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Gerallt Donoghue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nissyen Brock, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lot Blacksmith in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerallt Donoghue saved Maesteg FC from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Nissyen Brock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerallt Donoghue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Gwitart Gold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maesteg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwitart Gold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maesteg FC's Gerallt Donoghue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nissyen Brock in the 44th minute of play. Neath Utd's Lot Blacksmith got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Wren Dancy kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Calder Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gowther Lea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calder Jacob might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gowther Lea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calder Jacob ran back to his position shaking his head. Lot Blacksmith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gerallt Donoghue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwalchmei French during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Neath Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwalchmei French to maneuver through the defense. Gwitart Gold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lot Blacksmiths short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Gerallt Donoghue to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's Gwitart Gold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gowther Lea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerallt Donoghue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nissyen Brock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Nissyen Brock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gerallt Donoghue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gwitart Gold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Nissyen Brock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerallt Donoghue. Nissyen Brock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
