Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berth Caldwell started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Clonernagh United's zone, Llyr Hussey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ffodor Kennedy came out of the goal and Llyr Hussey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keith Fishbourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bridgend's Edmyg Crittall got control of the ball when Arglwydd Culpepper tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Keith Fishbourne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ffodor Kennedy was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Keith Fishbourne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ffodor Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Llyr Hussey struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ffodor Kennedy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. In the 27thth minute of the game Llyr Hussey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clonernagh United's Ffodor Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Clonernagh United's goal looked a bit too open when Llyr Hussey came free, but Ffodor Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avagdu Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Keith Fishbourne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clonernagh United's Ffodor Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Bridgend's Siencyn Hanson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Siencyn Hanson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bridgend protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Siencyn Hanson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Bridgend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clonernagh United:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Llyr Hussey to strike the kick off in the second half. Berth Caldwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Edmyg Crittall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glew Brickin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ffodor Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Llyr Hussey went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Avagdu Grubb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llyr Hussey came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ffodor Kennedy could save by the left post. Ffodor Kennedy came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Bridgend's Andreas Carey. But to his dismay, Andreas Carey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Llyr Hussey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ffodor Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glew Brickin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bridgend's Llyr Hussey got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Clonernagh United's goalkeeper Ffodor Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Llyr Hussey. Llyr Hussey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ffodor Kennedy having to make a save. Glew Brickin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clonernagh United's Ffodor Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glew Brickin in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Llyr Hussey got free with Ffodor Kennedy in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Clonernagh United's goalkeeper Ffodor Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Llyr Hussey. Bridgend's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
