He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Presteigne Utd reached it. Huw Bowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seith Hernon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pontarddulais Town FC's Amerawdwr Cannon in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Pontarddulais Town FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Goreu Boryla made a kick off. Goreu Boryla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerawdwr Cannon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tringad England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Goreu Boryla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontarddulais Town FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goreu Boryla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meurig Davidson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Meurig Davidson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Meurig Davidson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Goreu Boryla sped through Presteigne Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tringad England. After a defensive mix-up in Presteigne Utd's zone, Goreu Boryla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tringad England came out of the goal and Goreu Boryla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Presteigne Utd's Tringad England played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goreu Boryla in the 72nd minute of play. Huw Bowles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedwyr Herring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedwyr Herring struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Huw Bowles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Presteigne Utd. A collision led to Pontarddulais Town FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ector Billing hit a great ball. If Seith Hernon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ieuan Lamerton fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Presteigne Utd's protests and gave Ieuan Lamerton a yellow card for diving instead. Ieuan Lamerton kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Pontarddulais Town FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pontarddulais Town FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
