Barris Ludden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Powell Bagwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sun By The Sea's Tadeusz Nowak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The nice shot from Barris Ludden in the 15thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tadeusz Nowak had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 17th minute Goreu Eccleston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhychdir Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Nowak made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Trefor Kitts sent off a good shot on target. Goreu Eccleston's late challenge caught a The Red Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Goreu Eccleston helped the player get up and apologised. If Eryi Breen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sun By The Sea's zone, Teithi Harper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Nowak came out of the goal and Teithi Harper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Jeppe Follestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Powell Bagwell came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the The Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Powell Bagwell couldn't finish the play. Barris Ludden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Nowak made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Goreu Eccleston to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Powell Bagwell in the 54th minute of play forced Sun By The Sea's goalkeeper Tadeusz Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Red Devils's Rhychdir Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save The Red Devils from getting a goal against them. Sun By The Sea's Goreu Eccleston got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Goreu Eccleston off the ground. Goreu Eccleston hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sun By The Sea's Tadeusz Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Powell Bagwell in the 88th minute of play. Powell Bagwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tadeusz Nowak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trefor Kitts in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Nowak saved Sun By The Sea from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the The Red Devils players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
