Eryi Kilboy's late challenge caught a Cowbridge Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eryi Kilboy helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Skewen FC got a freekick which was hit by Eryi Kilboy. 5 minutes into the match, Skewen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melkin Doney came free, but Perceval Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perceval Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melkin Doney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dillus Grubb, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Skewen FC's Geraint Lamph got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Calcas Leather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowbridge Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calcas Leather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cowbridge Rovers's goalkeeper Mabon Dempsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geraint Lamph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Dempsey having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eryi Kilboy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skewen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eryi Kilboy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mabon Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes, Rhuvawn Griffith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skewen FC and the Cowbridge Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rhuvawn Griffith kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Dillus Grubb, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Skewen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Calcas Leather came free, but Perceval Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cowbridge Rovers's Mabon Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudur Bartholomew in the 37th minute of play. If Geraint Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Cowbridge Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Llwyr Spurrer. 42 minutes into the match, Cowbridge Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Tudur Bartholomew came free, but Mabon Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mabon Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudur Bartholomew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calcas Leather made a kick off. The supporters of Skewen FC booed when Cowbridge Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelles Bowden didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Geraint Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selwyn Lacey hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Melkin Doney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perceval Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calcas Leather, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 played minutes Skewen FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraint Heslop. 86 minutes in the game, Calcas Leather fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Perceval Floyd having to interfere. Perceval Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calcas Leather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudur Bartholomew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dillus Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Geraint Lamph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Mabon Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
