After having played for 6 minutes, Barris Ludden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barris Ludden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Powell Bagwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cowbridge Rovers's Mabon Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mabon Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trefor Kitts in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Barris Ludden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Red Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Cowbridge Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Trefor Kitts came free, but Mabon Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Cowbridge Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renfrew Holloway to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selwyn Lacey during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rhychdir Lee was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melkin Doney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. The Red Devils's Rhychdir Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save The Red Devils from getting a goal against them. After 32 played minutes The Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Jogaila Miknys. In the 33rd minute of the match Dillus Grubb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rhychdir Lee showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mabon Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Powell Bagwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dillus Grubb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calcas Leather stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Powell Bagwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mabon Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trefor Kitts might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mabon Dempsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trefor Kitts ran back to his position shaking his head. Mabon Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Powell Bagwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of The Red Devils booed when Cowbridge Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moesen Brody didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cowbridge Rovers's Mabon Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Powell Bagwell in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Powell Bagwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Powell Bagwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mabon Dempsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Mabon Dempsey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trefor Kitts got free with Mabon Dempsey in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trefor Kitts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mabon Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Red Devils's Trefor Kitts got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute, Idris Bartells got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded The Red Devils left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cowbridge Rovers.
