That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. In the 10th minute, Bedwyr Hill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sun By The Sea getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kent Boggs hit a great ball. Melkin Doney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cowbridge Rovers's zone, Kent Boggs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mabon Dempsey came out of the goal and Kent Boggs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Kent Boggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Odgar Deanly struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mabon Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sun By The Sea. If Odgar Deanly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cowbridge Rovers's Melkin Doney got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cowbridge Rovers's Pelles Bowden got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Goreu Eccleston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mabon Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Cowbridge Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Llwyr Spurrer. Llwyr Spurrer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Goreu Eccleston to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odgar Deanly in the 53rd minute of play forced Cowbridge Rovers's goalkeeper Mabon Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sun By The Sea's Odgar Deanly in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cowbridge Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. If Odgar Deanly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Goreu Eccleston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sun By The Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goreu Eccleston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goreu Eccleston in the 59th minute of play forced Cowbridge Rovers's goalkeeper Mabon Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Sun By The Sea a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeppe Follestad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cowbridge Rovers's Mabon Dempsey. 2-0. Melkin Doney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Nowak having to interfere. If Odgar Deanly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sun By The Sea's Goreu Eccleston in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cowbridge Rovers's goalie prevented a goal. After 83rd play minutes Goreu Eccleston shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Mabon Dempsey and just under the crossbar into goal. Goreu Eccleston struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mabon Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sun By The Sea. In the 88th minute, Goreu Eccleston made a precise shot to the right of Mabon Dempsey. Cowbridge Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Odgar Deanly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes, Moesen Brody mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowbridge Rovers and the Sun By The Sea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Cowbridge Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Moesen Brody. Sun By The Sea were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Cowbridge Rovers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeppe Follestad took the corner. In the 101st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cowbridge Rovers's goalkeeper Mabon Dempsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sun By The Sea fully deserved thier win.
