Ector Hartley hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Accalon Cupp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Accalon Cupp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barry Utd's Conwy Lennox got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Conwy Lennox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th match minute, Barry Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clud Brazier to maneuver through the defense. Accalon Cupp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nerth Gately tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhobert Bushfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nerth Gately having to interfere. Accalon Cupp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nerth Gately read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Aberystwyth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barry Utd were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Accalon Cupp made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Cadarn Frost came free, but Evrei Coe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Barry Utd got a freekick which was hit by Nentres Deanly. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Conwy Lennox managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Conwy Lennox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evrei Coe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Accalon Cupp might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nerth Gately. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Accalon Cupp ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Accalon Cupp in the 69th minute of play forced Barry Utd's goalkeeper Nerth Gately to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Accalon Cupp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nerth Gately showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhobert Bushfield in the 81st minute of the match. Nentres Deanly hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Camden in the 91st minute of play forced Barry Utd's goalkeeper Nerth Gately to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barry Utd's Tor Hobson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rhobert Bushfield struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nerth Gately didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aberystwyth. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barry Utd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
