The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Irvin Gold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwalchmei Jagger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Kynedyr Culpepper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mackem Magic Youth and the Rhosllanerchrugog United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kynedyr Culpepper hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Irvin Gold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwalchmei Jagger came out of the goal and Irvin Gold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gwalchmei Jagger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irvin Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes, Wadu Lamphier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mackem Magic Youth and the Rhosllanerchrugog United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Mackem Magic Youth got a freekick which was hit by Wadu Lamphier. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Irvin Gold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhosllanerchrugog United's supporters rose to their feet, but Irvin Gold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwalchmei Jagger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Mackem Magic Youth's goal looked a bit too open when Irvin Gold came free, but Gwalchmei Jagger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhosllanerchrugog United were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Mackem Magic Youth's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odgar Beckham took the corner. The corner led Rhosllanerchrugog United's Gwyneira Findley to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwalchmei Jagger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gwalchmei Jagger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irvin Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gwalchmei Jagger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyneira Findley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Mackem Magic Youth's goal looked a bit too open when Irvin Gold came free, but Gwalchmei Jagger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Price Glazier to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Anynnawg Glennon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mackem Magic Youth and the Rhosllanerchrugog United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anynnawg Glennon hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Irvin Gold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gwalchmei Jagger made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Mackem Magic Youth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Irvin Gold fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mackem Magic Youth's Gwalchmei Jagger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rheged Bowen in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Llyr Hand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Irvin Gold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwalchmei Jagger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irvin Gold got free with Gwalchmei Jagger in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irvin Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwalchmei Jagger having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Irvin Gold fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gwalchmei Jagger, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gwyneira Findley took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gwalchmei Jagger to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Gwyneira Findley could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Gwalchmei Jagger however easily saved by the left post. Kynedyr Culpepper hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Irvin Gold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gwalchmei Jagger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mackem Magic Youth's Gwalchmei Jagger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mackem Magic Youth from getting a goal against them. With his leg Gwalchmei Jagger managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Rhosllanerchrugog United's Irvin Gold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mackem Magic Youth's Wadu Lamphier got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Wadu Lamphier off the ground. In the 95th minute, Wadu Lamphier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Rhosllanerchrugog United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mackem Magic Youth throughout the match.
