In the 12th match minute, Newtown Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taffy Kennett to maneuver through the defense. Gethin England made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nerth Manciple sent off a good shot on target. Nerth Manciple sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Granwen Farrelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Aletico durres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meical Darke to maneuver through the defense. Meurig Goldthorpe charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Meurig Goldthorpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cadoc Arnold walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Aletico durres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newtown Utd the free kick. A collision led to Aletico durres getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Granwen Farrelly hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Sayer Gilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Aletico durres booed when Newtown Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olwydd Albert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gethin England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Granwen Farrelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sion Corbett to make the kick off. Sion Corbett did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised March Higgler 52 minutes into the match. The Aletico durres fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Aletico durres's Nerth Manciple looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Granwen Farrelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aletico durres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nerth Manciple in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gethin England prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gethin England made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meical Darke in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Nerth Manciple who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newtown Utd's Gethin England was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Granwen Farrelly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gethin England. Newtown Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Granwen Farrelly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 80 minutes into the match, Newtown Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Nerth Manciple came free, but Gethin England reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Granwen Farrelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nerth Manciple received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gethin England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. March Higgler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sion Corbett, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
