The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berth Benedict fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadwgawn Gover having to interfere. After 10 minutes UWA Bangor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Myrddin Hastings who took care of the corner kick. Morhedral FC's Myrddin Hastings was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bradwr Hogg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 13 minutes, Baudwin Fickett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morhedral FC and the UWA Bangor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of UWA Bangor booed when Morhedral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baudwin Fickett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadwgawn Gover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berth Benedict in the 14th minute of the match. Bradwr Hogg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baudwin Fickett's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Brien in the 21st minute of play forced UWA Bangor's goalkeeper Bradwr Hogg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morhedral FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Berth Benedict 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, UWA Bangor's Merlin Fox got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dafydd Forbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Cadwgawn Gover made a huge save. After 30 minutes, Waljan Hancock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morhedral FC and the UWA Bangor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Morhedral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waljan Hancock to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morhedral FC's goalkeeper Cadwgawn Gover, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th play minute Dafydd Forbes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cadwgawn Gover. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Cedric Brien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baudwin Fickett was the one to do the kick off. Cadwgawn Gover showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berth Benedict, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Myrddin Hastings lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morhedral FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Dafydd Forbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cadwgawn Gover having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, UWA Bangor's Berth Benedict sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cadwgawn Gover narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Morhedral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dafydd Forbes came free, but Cadwgawn Gover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morhedral FC's Cadwgawn Gover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berth Benedict in the 71st minute of play. Bradwr Hogg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reese Douglas in the 72nd minute. Reese Douglas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bradwr Hogg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of UWA Bangor booed when Morhedral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedric Brien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dyvyr Fairbrother, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Morhedral FC's Cadwgawn Gover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dafydd Forbes in the 82nd minute of play. Berth Benedict received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cadwgawn Gover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Math Beever kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morhedral FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dyvyr Fairbrother was slow to take the kick. During this time UWA Bangor's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dyvyr Fairbrother got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cadwgawn Gover quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Reese Douglas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morhedral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reese Douglas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradwr Hogg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dafydd Forbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cadwgawn Gover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dafydd Forbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Morhedral FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Morhedral FC may have spent more time on the ball, but UWA Bangor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
