Erbin Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odgar Lloyd having to interfere. When Bradwen Edwards fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lab's protests and gave Bradwen Edwards a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, FC Lab's goal looked a bit too open when Arawn Flesher came free, but Odgar Lloyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erbin Adams came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the UWA Llanberis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erbin Adams couldn't finish the play. Bradwen Edwards ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes, Erbin Adams mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Llanberis and the FC Lab players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Erbin Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Awstin Lavars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to UWA Llanberis getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pawl Drummond hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Awstin Lavars to make the kick off. Erbin Adams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odgar Lloyd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. FC Lab's Bradwen Edwards got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Bradwen Edwards off the ground. UWA Llanberis's Erbin Adams got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Llanberis's goalkeeper Yale Lavelle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Erbin Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odgar Lloyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Erbin Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Llanberis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erbin Adams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
