Spectators: 8082 (Terracing: 6063, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bryn Fielding took the kick off in the first half of the match. Beli Bright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Moesen Breslin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. the islanders fc's Glew Hodgkiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calder Bowden in the 6th minute of play. Brastias Jagger hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Glew Hodgkiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryn Fielding in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Calder Bowden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Beli Bright came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the the islanders fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beli Bright couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Brastias Jagger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beli Bright struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Moesen Breslin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the islanders fc. Moesen Breslin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beli Bright in the 28th minute. Bryn Fielding might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glew Hodgkiss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryn Fielding ran back to his position shaking his head. Moesen Breslin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brastias Jagger in the 32nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Mabsant Allard in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UWA Denbigh's Gwythyr Gamble. With a little luck, UWA Denbigh's Moesen Breslin got control of the ball when Caerwyn Lonsdale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beli Bright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moesen Breslin having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Brastias Jagger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moesen Breslin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beli Bright in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, the islanders fc's Beli Bright sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moesen Breslin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beli Bright to make the kick off. Beli Bright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwythyr Gamble's late challenge caught a the islanders fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwythyr Gamble helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, UWA Denbigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwythyr Gamble to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd play minute Calder Bowden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Glew Hodgkiss. 1-1. In the 78th minute, Blathaon Finn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryn Fielding in the 80th minute of play forced the islanders fc's goalkeeper Glew Hodgkiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beli Bright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, the islanders fc failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
