Seating: 1465, VIP seats: 35) When Awstin Aykroyd came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Wrexham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Awstin Aykroyd couldn't finish the play. Gwyneira Chetwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Price Coe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Awstin Aykroyd sped through Knighton Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Price Coe. In the 12thth minute of the game Awstin Aykroyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knighton Utd's Price Coe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Knighton Utd's Price Coe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Knighton Utd from getting a goal against them. Bedwyr Husbandman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Price Coe came out and tried to block the shot, but Bedwyr Husbandman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Knighton Utd's zone, Awstin Aykroyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Price Coe came out of the goal and Awstin Aykroyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Wrexham got a freekick which was hit by Jones Dancy. In the 30th minute, Jones Dancy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wrexham's Awstin Aykroyd in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knighton Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Awstin Aykroyd in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Price Coe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Gilbert Hamm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knighton Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wrexham the free kick. Gilbert Hamm hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bedwyr Husbandman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Price Coe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Price Coe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awstin Aykroyd in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bedwyr Husbandman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrexham's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedwyr Husbandman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Price Coe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sinnoch Clements was the one to do the kick off. Gwyneira Chetwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Price Coe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Awstin Aykroyd made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Knighton Utd's Price Coe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Awstin Aykroyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert Hamm kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Wrexham's Awstin Aykroyd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Price Coe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gwyneira Chetwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Price Coe having to interfere. Jones Dancy's late challenge caught a Knighton Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jones Dancy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wrexham's Jones Dancy got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Price Coe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Awstin Aykroyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wrexham fully deserved thier win.
