Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Collen Forsyth started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Drew French came free, but Mabon Keelan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Rhett Berry. Mabon Keelan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew French, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Drew French notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Neath's Mabon Keelan. Mabon Keelan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cant Cockwell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rhett Berry's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Drew French scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mabon Keelan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wren Long kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Heilyn Holcomb took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cant Cockwell. Prestatyn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Drew French got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heilyn Holcomb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cant Cockwell came out and tried to block the shot, but Heilyn Holcomb slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naw Henson in the 40th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Mabon Keelan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cant Cockwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sayer Hitchcock in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iestyn Gorman in the 42nd minute of play forced Prestatyn's goalkeeper Cant Cockwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rhett Berry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prestatyn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Collen Forsyth scored to the left of an out of position Cant Cockwell, making the score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drew French to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Rhett Berry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cant Cockwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cant Cockwell came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Neath's Sayer Hitchcock. But to his dismay, Sayer Hitchcock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Cant Cockwell came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Neath's Rhett Berry. But to his dismay, Rhett Berry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Cant Cockwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhett Berry went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Collen Forsyth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rhett Berry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Berth Ammon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berth Ammon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
