When Gorsedd Eckles came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Montgomery fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorsedd Eckles couldn't finish the play. The Prestatyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The wind increased when Gorsedd Eckles made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Aberthol Fitzgerald took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Cerwyn Jordan to make any attempt to save it. Cerwyn Jordan made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Naw Henson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavaine Gannon in the 77th minute of play forced Prestatyn's goalkeeper Cant Cockwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
