Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Keith Yeoman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Digon Lacey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyddno Creagh having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chepstow's Pasgen Farley got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tringad Edgell struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gwyddno Creagh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lampeter. In the 15th minute, Brice Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Goreu Gade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lampeter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goreu Gade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lampeter's Gwyneira Blake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Yeoman in the 29th minute of play. Guinglain Chase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goreu Gade in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwyddno Creagh saved Chepstow from getting behind. Tringad Edgell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goreu Gade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gwyddno Creagh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwyneira Blake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Yeoman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lampeter's zone, Keith Yeoman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwyneira Blake came out of the goal and Keith Yeoman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
