An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwilym Carver in the 3rd minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, UWA Rh's Lavaine Hurlburt got a free kick in the 5th minute. UWA Rh's Rhys Dixon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andras Leek in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Andras Leek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rhys Dixon. Andras Leek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 23 minutes, Nerthach Gould managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Rh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nerthach Gould was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Andras Leek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dixon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andras Leek in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Dixon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UWA Rh's Rhys Dixon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save UWA Rh from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Vaughn Coalman notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger. Rhys Wharfinger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee gave UWA Rh a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vaughn Coalman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger. 1-6. Gwallawg Lynn hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Rhys Wharfinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Coalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the match was over UWA Rh could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talgarth throughout the match.
