Spectators: 6605 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Barry Athletic CF's Cant Herbert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Cant Herbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Wharfinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cant Herbert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rhys Wharfinger came out and tried to block the shot, but Cant Herbert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Fercos Criddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andras Leek in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Barry Athletic CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrys Crittall didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Andras Leek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fercos Criddle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fercos Criddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadellin Finlay in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barry Athletic CF's Emrys Crittall got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Andras Leek sped through Barry Athletic CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fercos Criddle. Reese Wainwright kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Cant Herbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Wharfinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Talgarth from getting a goal against them. Andras Leek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fercos Criddle having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Barry Athletic CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cadellin Finlay came free, but Fercos Criddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Cadellin Finlay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fercos Criddle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andras Leek made a kick off. Rhys Wharfinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrys Crittall in the 52nd minute of play. In the 66th minute Cant Herbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Wharfinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cant Herbert took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rhys Wharfinger. Rhys Wharfinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When Addolgar Hubert fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barry Athletic CF's protests and gave Addolgar Hubert a yellow card for diving instead. Addolgar Hubert kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Talgarth getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cadellin Finlay hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Cant Herbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Rhys Wharfinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Talgarth played a much better game than Barry Athletic CF and deserved their victory. The Barry Athletic CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
