Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aedd Slater kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Merlin Chance notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of UWA Rh's Rhys Dixon. Rhys Dixon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, UWA Rh's March Scrutiner got a free kick in the 5th minute. Rhys Dixon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caradoc Gould, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UWA Rh's Rhys Dixon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caradoc Hockensmith in the 8th minute of play. Lavaine Hurlburt's late challenge caught a Presteigne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lavaine Hurlburt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UWA Rh's Lavaine Hurlburt got a free kick in the 9th minute. Rhys Dixon came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Presteigne's Arawn Aldridge. But to his dismay, Arawn Aldridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Merlin Chance had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhys Dixon. UWA Rh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merlin Chance was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 18 minutes into the game, Merlin Chance cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rhys Dixon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 played minutes UWA Rh got a freekick which was hit by Pwyll Dexter. In the 24th minute, Caradoc Gould left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Presteigne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 28th minute of the match, Aedd Slater tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswallt Hampton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute, Lavaine Hurlburt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aedd Slater in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswallt Hampton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UWA Rh's Aedd Slater got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Siam Canada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Presteigne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Rh the free kick. A collision led to Presteigne getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Siam Canada hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Merlin Chance made a kick off. In the 51st minute Vaughn Coalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswallt Hampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Siam Canada was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Presteigne's zone, Aedd Slater stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswallt Hampton came out of the goal and Aedd Slater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oswallt Hampton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aedd Slater's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Vaughn Coalman's late challenge caught a Presteigne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaughn Coalman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UWA Rh getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vaughn Coalman hit a great ball. Rhys Dixon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Chance in the 60th minute of play. Oswallt Hampton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwilym Carver in the 66th minute of play. Merlin Chance's late challenge caught a UWA Rh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Chance helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Presteigne got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Chance. UWA Rh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Caradoc Gould scored to the left of an out of position Rhys Dixon, making the score, 0-6. 75 minutes into the game, Aedd Slater cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Oswallt Hampton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caradoc Gould hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Oswallt Hampton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aedd Slater, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Marrock Culpepper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwilym Carver in the 88th minute of play forced Presteigne's goalkeeper Oswallt Hampton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Presteigne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Chance to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Aedd Slater's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswallt Hampton was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Presteigne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
