In the 10th minute, Merlin Cleghorn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwitart Lister was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Cleghorn in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwitart Lister saved Llandudno Drillers from getting behind. Bryn Hoague hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Knighton's Yale Brewster got control of the ball when Arawn Hatton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ardwyad Alnor charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ardwyad Alnor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Knighton's Ardwyad Alnor got a free kick in the 19th minute. Knighton's Yale Brewster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Knighton from getting a goal against them. After having played for 25 minutes, Cadwr Burchett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadwr Burchett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Llandudno Drillers booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryn Hoague didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Llandudno Drillers's goal looked a bit too open when Ardwyad Alnor came free, but Gwitart Lister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gamon Lunshekaun during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gwitart Lister dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kynon Dempsey scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwitart Lister, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arawn Hatton was the one to do the kick off. Gwitart Lister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kynon Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merlin Cleghorn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gwitart Lister came out and tried to block the shot, but Merlin Cleghorn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. Gwitart Lister was a little too slow when Merlin Cleghorn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-8. Gwitart Lister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Cleghorn in the 76th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Kynon Dempsey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gwitart Lister, 0-10. A collision led to Llandudno Drillers getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tudur Gooch hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Llandudno Drillers's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Cleghorn came free, but Gwitart Lister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arawn Hatton in the 95th minute of play forced Knighton's goalkeeper Yale Brewster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Llandudno Drillers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Knighton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
