Kynon Lax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gwyddno Creagh made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Kynon Lax recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gwyddno Creagh. Kynon Lax showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gwyddno Creagh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cadellin Finlay in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Chepstow's Gwyddno Creagh got control of the ball when Kynon Lax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rhys Wharfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Isham in the 26th minute of the match. Chepstow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talgarth the free kick. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Chepstow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pasgen Farley didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Chepstow's goalkeeper Gwyddno Creagh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andras Leek. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Chepstow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pasgen Farley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Kynon Lax got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gwyddno Creagh was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadellin Finlay got free with Gwyddno Creagh in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwyddno Creagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kynon Lax in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Chepstow's Gwyddno Creagh got control of the ball when Kynon Lax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cadellin Finlay came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gwyddno Creagh could save by the left post. In the 48th minute of the match, Andras Leek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gwyddno Creagh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keith Yeoman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cadellin Finlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Kynon Lax left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talgarth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some careless play in the Chepstow defense, Kynon Lax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwyddno Creagh. The Chepstow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwyddno Creagh should have stopped the shot. Chepstow's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cadellin Finlay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 81st minute, Bran Canada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwyddno Creagh was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Pasgen Farley kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Andras Leek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwyddno Creagh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Chepstow defense, Andras Leek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwyddno Creagh.
