The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evan Lyons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hydd Beckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Hydd Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evan Lyons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evan Lyons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Kinsey's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Port Talbot's goalkeeper Gwres Charlton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Kenyon Gettins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trelew Land and the Port Talbot players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Port Talbot booed when Trelew Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenyon Gettins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Merlin Godwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Port Talbot getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Peissawg Brent hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Trelew Land's goal looked a bit too open when Gowerr Faircloth came free, but Evan Lyons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trelew Land's Evan Lyons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hydd Beckham in the 41st minute of play. Evan Lyons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gowerr Faircloth went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gwres Charlton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merlin Godwin went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merlin Godwin to make the kick off. Kai Kinsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Evan Lyons made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Hydd Beckham made a precise shot to the right of Evan Lyons. Trelew Land's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gowerr Faircloth in the 65th minute of play forced Trelew Land's goalkeeper Evan Lyons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evan Lyons was a little too slow when Hydd Beckham got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Godwin in the 76th minute of play forced Port Talbot's goalkeeper Gwres Charlton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai Kinsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwalchmei Lynch charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwalchmei Lynch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Trelew Land got a freekick which was hit by Gwalchmei Lynch. Kenyon Gettins hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Evan Lyons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hydd Beckham in the 96th minute of play. If Gowerr Faircloth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
