Tringad Edgell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yale Brewster having to interfere. Gwyneira Blake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kynon Dempsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Kynon Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tringad Edgell during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tringad Edgell kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Merlin Cleghorn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knighton's supporters rose to their feet, but Merlin Cleghorn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyneira Blake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Merlin Cleghorn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gwyneira Blake saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 23 minutes into the game, Dalldav Finnegan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lampeter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knighton the free kick. The supporters of Knighton booed when Lampeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalldav Finnegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadwr Burchett. The supporters of Lampeter booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wren Benedict didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Cleghorn in the 34th minute of play forced Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwyneira Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Cleghorn in the 39th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Brice Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lampeter and the Knighton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Knighton booed when Lampeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Merlin Cleghorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kynon Dempsey. After a rather tough play, Lampeter's Goreu Gade got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gwyneira Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Cleghorn in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Merlin Cleghorn made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Merlin Cleghorn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwyneira Blake was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Goreu Gade charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goreu Gade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cadwr Burchett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gwyneira Blake. Lampeter's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Lampeter booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryn Hoague didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lampeter's Gwyneira Blake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadwr Burchett in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Lampeter getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tringad Edgell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Cleghorn in the 64th minute of play forced Lampeter's goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwyneira Blake came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Knighton's Kynon Dempsey. But to his dismay, Kynon Dempsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 69th minute Cadwr Burchett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyneira Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Merlin Cleghorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyneira Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goal looked a bit too open when Kynon Dempsey came free, but Gwyneira Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Goreu Gade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Gromer Kearney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Knighton's Cadwr Burchett got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Kynon Dempsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyneira Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Merlin Cleghorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Lampeter's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Cleghorn came free, but Gwyneira Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Knighton got a corner. Lampeter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cadwr Burchett ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Knighton's corner Cadwr Burchett fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gwyneira Blake quite easily take care of the ball. Digon Lacey charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Digon Lacey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lampeter's Digon Lacey got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 93 played minutes, Knighton's Cadwr Burchett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gwyneira Blake came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Knighton reached it. Mawrth Bell charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mawrth Bell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Knighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mawrth Bell to maneuver through the defense. Knighton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
