After some careless play in the Llandudno Drillers defense, Cant Herbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwitart Lister. The Llandudno Drillers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwitart Lister should have stopped the shot. Clyde Bullock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwitart Lister read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Emrys Crittall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwitart Lister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gamon Lunshekaun's late challenge caught a Barry Athletic CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gamon Lunshekaun helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Llandudno Drillers got a freekick which was hit by Gamon Lunshekaun. Llandudno Drillers's Gwitart Lister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teregud Green in the 42nd minute of play. Gwitart Lister dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arawn Hatton to make the kick off. The supporters of Llandudno Drillers booed when Barry Athletic CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrys Crittall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fercos Criddle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arawn Hatton's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Arawn Hatton came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Llandudno Drillers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arawn Hatton couldn't finish the play. Fercos Criddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arawn Hatton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cant Herbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute of the match, Emrys Crittall got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gwitart Lister was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Llandudno Drillers's Arawn Hatton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fercos Criddle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 83 minutes into the game, Aglovale Lydiican was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llandudno Drillers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barry Athletic CF the free kick. The supporters of Barry Athletic CF booed when Llandudno Drillers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aglovale Lydiican didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emrys Crittall got free with Gwitart Lister in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Llandudno Drillers getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gamon Lunshekaun hit a great ball. Gwitart Lister made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emrys Crittall in the 89th minute. Llandudno Drillers's Gwitart Lister proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Llandudno Drillers from getting a goal against them. Gwitart Lister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clyde Bullock in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barry Athletic CF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
