Gwydre Freston kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gowerr Faircloth in the 22nd minute of play forced Bangor's goalkeeper Calder Hamm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gowerr Faircloth shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Gowerr Faircloth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calder Hamm having to interfere. Cadyryeith Coyne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gwres Charlton. Port Talbot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gwres Charlton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwydre Freston in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Port Talbot's goalkeeper Gwres Charlton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Port Talbot's goal looked a bit too open when Robat Coneely came free, but Gwres Charlton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Port Talbot's Calder Hamm threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gowerr Faircloth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Renfrew Avery got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Bangor getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Renfrew Avery hit a great ball. Calder Hamm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Colwyn Conlan in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robat Coneely to make the kick off. Calder Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gowerr Faircloth in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Gowerr Faircloth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calder Hamm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwydre Freston who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Gwres Charlton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bangor's Calder Hamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colwyn Conlan in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Port Talbot's goalkeeper Gwres Charlton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwydre Freston. In the 78th minute Robat Coneely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwres Charlton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colwyn Conlan's late challenge caught a Bangor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colwyn Conlan helped the player get up and apologised. Gwres Charlton made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gwydre Freston sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Cant Korting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calder Hamm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colwyn Conlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gowerr Faircloth kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
