Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arthur Fishbourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadwr Burchett in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Knighton getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gwawl Huddleston hit a great ball. Ely Utd's Baudwin Francom got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadwr Burchett in the 12th minute of play forced Ely Utd's goalkeeper Arthur Fishbourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baudwin Francom got free with Yale Brewster in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teryrnon Donovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Knighton's goalkeeper Yale Brewster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baudwin Francom. In the 22nd minute, Cadwr Burchett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Fishbourne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th match minute, Ely Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calder Croft to maneuver through the defense. Merlin Cleghorn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Knighton's Cadwr Burchett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Fishbourne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arthur Fishbourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kynon Dempsey in the 33rd minute of play. Baudwin Francom's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Yale Brewster skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Baudwin Francom was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baudwin Francom in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yale Brewster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute of the match, Merlin Cleghorn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arthur Fishbourne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th match minute, Ely Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calder Croft to maneuver through the defense. Yale Brewster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teryrnon Donovan in the 58th minute of play. Calder Croft was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Knighton booed when Ely Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calder Croft didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Cleghorn in the 63rd minute of play forced Ely Utd's goalkeeper Arthur Fishbourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadwr Burchett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Fishbourne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Cleghorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Cadwr Burchett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadwr Burchett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Baudwin Francom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-3 became the score in the 77th minute when Kynon Dempsey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ely Utd's Arthur Fishbourne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ely Utd from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Baudwin Francom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ely Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Baudwin Francom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yale Brewster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ely Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Knighton's performance. The match ended with a win for Knighton.
