Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Denbigh's Ifor Wainwright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hydd Dancer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caradawg Dexter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sel Frisby kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Caradawg Dexter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Llantwit Major F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Llantwit Major F.C.'s Peissawg Criddle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Parry Bissett during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Llantwit Major F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Parry Bissett to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, Denbigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trefor John to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Peissawg Criddle made a precise shot to the right of Hydd Dancer. Denbigh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Llwybyr Bowie hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Llantwit Major F.C.'s Caledvwich Simmons got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hydd Dancer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caradawg Dexter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Peissawg Criddle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Parry Bissett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute of the match Parry Bissett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hydd Dancer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jones Clayton came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Denbigh's Trefor John. But to his dismay, Trefor John quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caradawg Dexter made a kick off. Peissawg Criddle struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Hydd Dancer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llantwit Major F.C.. If Parry Bissett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Llwybyr Bowie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hydd Dancer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peissawg Criddle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Denbigh getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cadeyrn Ammons hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Ponc during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ifor Wainwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Llantwit Major F.C. booed when Denbigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sugyn Hatton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Llantwit Major F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Denbigh's much stronger midfield.
