Llantwit Major F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gruffen Greene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caradawg Dexter in the 11th minute of play. Gobrwy Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jones Clayton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gobrwy Bernard in the 15th minute of the match. Llantwit Major F.C.'s Jones Clayton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelles Crease in the 19th minute of play. Jones Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myrddin Chandler in the 21st minute of play. Caradawg Dexter succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The supporters of Aberystwyth booed when Llantwit Major F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradwr Cumberland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peissawg Criddle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gruffen Greene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peissawg Criddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caradawg Dexter to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Padrig Kirk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jones Clayton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Aberystwyth's zone, Caradawg Dexter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gruffen Greene came out of the goal and Caradawg Dexter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caradawg Dexter hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aberystwyth booed when Llantwit Major F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llwybyr Bowie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aberystwyth's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Llantwit Major F.C. had won, even though Aberystwyth had held more of the ball.
