Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clyde Hetherington took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Aneirin Drinkwater came free, but Gawain Edmund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gruffen Little hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Neath's Dilwyn Caine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gawain Edmund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Selyf Asa's late challenge caught a Prestatyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selyf Asa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Selyf Asa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prestatyn's Tomos Gause shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Brathach Brewster but with some difficulty. Prestatyn's Gawain Edmund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selyf Asa in the 25th minute of play. Selyf Asa scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gawain Edmund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Gruffen Little came free, but Gawain Edmund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gruffen Little scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gawain Edmund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44thth minute of the game Gruffen Little who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prestatyn's Gawain Edmund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Selyf Asa notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Prestatyn's Gawain Edmund. Gawain Edmund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dilwyn Caine was the one to do the kick off. Prestatyn's Gawain Edmund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aneirin Drinkwater in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Aneirin Drinkwater got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gawain Edmund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dilwyn Caine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Morvran Letson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prestatyn and the Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. Morvran Letson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gawain Edmund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dilwyn Caine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gawain Edmund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gruffen Little went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Gruffen Little got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-10 in the right cross in the 88th match minute before Gawain Edmund had time to react. Gruffen Little received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gawain Edmund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gawain Edmund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dilwyn Caine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dilwyn Caine came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Neath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dilwyn Caine couldn't finish the play. Neath's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
