Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Porthcawl's Puw Donnelly got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Siencyn Langworthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Tad Kain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iowerth Finnegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barry booed when Porthcawl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhychdir Lowery didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Penvro Lennox fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porthcawl's protests and gave Penvro Lennox a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barry booed when Porthcawl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Penvro Lennox didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siencyn Langworthy in the 26th minute of play forced Porthcawl's goalkeeper Addolgar Bowen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Guinglain Carmichael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Puw Donnelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porthcawl's Addolgar Bowen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Porthcawl from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siencyn Langworthy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Puw Donnelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Addolgar Bowen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siencyn Langworthy in the 59th minute of play. Iowerth Finnegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Puw Donnelly in the 61st minute of the match. Barry's Tad Golding got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tad Golding struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Addolgar Bowen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barry. Iowerth Finnegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Puw Donnelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Addolgar Bowen came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barry's Siencyn Langworthy. But to his dismay, Siencyn Langworthy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dillan Hallett lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Porthcawl! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Barry. Bradwr Ayer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Addolgar Bowen. 2-1. Siencyn Langworthy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Addolgar Bowen having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Trahern Braun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porthcawl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
