After having played for 3 minutes, Sinnoch Colporteur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinnoch Colporteur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lug Mason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Brad Kilpatrick made a huge save. Sinnoch Colporteur kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flint's goalkeeper Anwell Kitts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Flint's Tarrant Fleming got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Bridgend defense, Cadman Brandon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brad Kilpatrick. The Bridgend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brad Kilpatrick should have stopped the shot. Lug Mason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Brad Kilpatrick made a huge save. Brad Kilpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lleu Gain in the 25th minute of play. Kane Lett charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kane Lett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Kane Lett got a free kick in the 27th minute. Brad Kilpatrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lug Mason in the 31st minute. Brad Kilpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lleu Gain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bridgend's Brad Kilpatrick got control of the ball when Lug Mason tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Lleu Gain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anwell Kitts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mael Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Lleu Gain came free, but Brad Kilpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bridgend's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Cadman Brandon scored to the left of an out of position Brad Kilpatrick, making the score, 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sugyn Collier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Lug Mason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Kilpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cadman Brandon's late challenge caught a Bridgend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cadman Brandon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Cadman Brandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Sugyn Collier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bridgend's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flint the free kick. After 56 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Sugyn Collier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sugyn Collier in the 58th minute of play forced Flint's goalkeeper Anwell Kitts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brad Kilpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lleu Gain in the 63rd minute of play. Brad Kilpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lleu Gain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sinnoch Colporteur kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Lug Mason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Sugyn Collier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anwell Kitts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sinnoch Colporteur to maneuver through the defense. Aeddan Crocker hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Bridgend's Brad Kilpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lug Mason in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bridgend players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flint.
