With a little luck, Eternal FLame's Juan Maore got control of the ball when Sulyen Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Medyr Beever hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Juan Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sior Hanley in the 11th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Dirmyg Francom. Sior Hanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Medyr Beever came free, but Arthur Gain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sior Hanley hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arthur Gain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medyr Beever, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee gave Eternal FLame a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. Eternal FLame's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penarth the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sior Hanley in the 37th minute of play forced Eternal FLame's goalkeeper Juan Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medyr Beever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arthur Gain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Penarth's goal looked a bit too open when Medyr Beever came free, but Arthur Gain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Gain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medyr Beever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Gain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwres Shrieve in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwres Shrieve to make the kick off.
