Hamza Essafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohieddine Essediri, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Calne getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mehdi Boularès hit a great ball. Habib Achab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Majdi Hadrioui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Achab in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Majdi Hadrioui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calne's Majdi Hadrioui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Calne from getting a goal against them. After 41 minutes, Habib Achab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tring FC and the Calne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46thth minute of the game Habib Achab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calne's Majdi Hadrioui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Boubaker Ali Bourguiba made the kick off in the second half.
