Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Sutton's Habib Ghodbane started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes Buxton City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adel Bachraoui who took care of the corner kick. Samir Zahaf hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hamdi Rehouma kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Buxton City's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Zahaf came free, but Oussama Chiboub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Amir Eyadema was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sutton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buxton City the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sutton's Amir Eyadema got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Emir Dermech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oussama Chiboub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Ghodbane in the 27th minute of play. Samir Zahaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oussama Chiboub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emir Dermech recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oussama Chiboub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Ghodbane in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Radhi Hadrioui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buxton City and the Sutton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Radhi Hadrioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Habib Ghodbane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oussama Chiboub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samir Zahaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Sutton were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emir Dermech made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Buxton City's goalkeeper Oussama Chiboub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samir Zahaf. 54 minutes into the game, Chedi Akid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buxton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sutton the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Buxton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chedi Akid to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes, Sutton's Adel Bachraoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oussama Chiboub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sutton reached it. In the 59th match minute, Sutton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Eyadema to maneuver through the defense. Hédi Kallel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Oussama Chiboub, was totally fooled by Sutton's Adel Bachraoui, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buxton City's goalkeeper Oussama Chiboub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Ghodbane in the 74th minute of play forced Buxton City's goalkeeper Oussama Chiboub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amir Eyadema was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Buxton City booed when Sutton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Eyadema didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Alaeddine Boumnijel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Samir Zahaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Sutton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Ghodbane to maneuver through the defense. Sutton's Samir Zahaf got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Ghodbane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Sutton left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Buxton City.
