Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Southbourne United's Ahmed Bourguiba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achraf Gmamdia got free with Hedi Ayari in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamdi Meriah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Boumnijel in the 7th minute of play. Hedi Ayari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Bourguiba went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Achraf Gmamdias short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Hedi Ayari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute, Haykel Mechemeche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haythem Hammami kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ponteland's Muhammad Boularès got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tarek Mzali shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Hedi Ayari was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Achraf Gmamdia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hedi Ayari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Southbourne United's Haythem Chiba got a free kick in the 31st minute. Karim Boumnijel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes Southbourne United got a freekick which was hit by Haythem Hammami. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karim Boumnijel to strike the kick off in the second half. Karim Boumnijel struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hamdi Meriah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponteland. Haykel Mechemeche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Meriah having to interfere. Hamdi Meriah made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Haykel Mechemeche sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Southbourne United's Ahmed Bourguiba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hedi Ayari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Southbourne United's Achraf Gmamdia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hedi Ayari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Hamdi Meriah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Boumnijel in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamed Mokthar during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Southbourne United's Hamed Mokthar got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of Ponteland booed when Southbourne United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hédi Rzouga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Bourguiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Bourguiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hedi Ayari having to interfere. Southbourne United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ponteland for a fine match.
