In the 13th match minute, Tamworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lotfi Chedli to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Fraj Nafti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tamworth United's Haykel Boumnijel got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Ben Mrabet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oussama Mestiri might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehdi Saidi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oussama Mestiri ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Karim Chérif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahar Namouchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Mrabet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tahar Namouchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Mrabet, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.
