An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Mokadem in the 5th minute of play forced Gedling City's goalkeeper Khaled Bourguiba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Attleborough City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gedling City:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Gedling City. Hamdi Gtari stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karim Bensedrine. 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Habib Braham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karim Bensedrine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 29 minutes, Mohammed Ayari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gedling City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammed Ayari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Attleborough City's Mehdi Ghariani broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Karim Bensedrine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Braham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamel Ghodbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Bensedrine having to interfere. Karim Bensedrine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Ayari in the 41st minute of play. Mohammed Ayari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Karim Bensedrine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohammed Ayari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Khaled Bourguiba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aymen Kasraoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Habib Braham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Bensedrine didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. When Mohamed Tonniche fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attleborough City's protests and gave Mohamed Tonniche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Mohamed Tonniche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Braham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Mokadem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jamel Ghodbane came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gedling City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamel Ghodbane couldn't finish the play. Karim Bensedrine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habib Braham in the 94th minute.
