Chaker Boumnijel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Riadh Jegham sent off a good shot on target. Driss al-Husain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Ouakili 's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Driss al-Husain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ouakili in the 15th minute of play. Poynton AFC's Driss al-Husain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraj Belgacem in the 15th minute of play. Mohamed Ouakili charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Ouakili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kirkby AFC's Mohamed Ouakili got a free kick in the 21st minute. Abdallah Bouzaiene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaker Boumnijel having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Abdallah Bouzaiene's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chaker Boumnijel was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Fraj Belgacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Driss al-Husain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fraj Belgacem's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Riadh Jegham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Abdallah Bouzaiene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaker Boumnijel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Poynton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdallah Bouzaiene. Mehdi Mzali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Driss al-Husain having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Riadh Jegham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Chaker Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Poynton AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fraj Belgacem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute Abdallah Bouzaiene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaker Boumnijel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdallah Bouzaiene blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chaker Boumnijel having to make a save. When Kirkby AFC's Mohamed Ouakili in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poynton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Haykel Zaalani fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poynton AFC's protests and gave Haykel Zaalani a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Poynton AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Haykel Zaalani hit a great ball. After 86 minutes, Riadh Jegham made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kirkby AFC's Chaker Boumnijel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fraj Belgacems short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Driss al-Husain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Abdallah Bouzaiene came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Poynton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdallah Bouzaiene couldn't finish the play. Riadh Jegham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chaker Boumnijel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Poynton AFC had won after a very even match.
