The tension between the Barhill and the Christchurch City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bechir Zouaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Ladgham in the 14th minute of the match. Muhammad Ladgham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bechir Zouaoui having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Christchurch City's Muhammad Ladgham made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bechir Zouaoui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Youssef Ben Essebsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarak Ghodhbane in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Tarak Ghodhbane fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Christchurch City's Mohieddine Ben Doulet got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Youssef Ben Essebsi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brahim Beya in the 36th minute. Tarak Ghodhbane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Youssef Ben Essebsi having to make a save. If Brahim Beya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Brahim Beya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Youssef Ben Essebsi. Christchurch City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brahim Beya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, Christchurch City's goal looked a bit too open when Tarak Ghodhbane came free, but Youssef Ben Essebsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Muhammad Ladgham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Muhammad Ladgham came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Christchurch City fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Christchurch City booed when Barhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamel Hedi Jedidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barhill's zone, Mohieddine Ben Doulet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bechir Zouaoui came out of the goal and Mohieddine Ben Doulet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Barhill fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 83rd minute Tarak Ghodhbane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youssef Ben Essebsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
