In the 10th minute, Hassen Saidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karim Habib Benfrej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Amine Achab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Oxted:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ponteland:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 20 played minutes, when Ponteland:s Mohieddine Salem calmly waited for Oxted:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 23rd minute, Riadh Djait left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oxted fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 32 minutes of play, Oxted's Mohamed Ali Boukadida made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amine Achab was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Ponteland's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Habib Benfrej came free, but Amine Achab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamel al-Husain kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Oxted's Mohamed Ali Boukadida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amine Achab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Mokthar got free with Ahmed Moatamri in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oxted's Ahmed Moatamri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adel Salem in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mohamed Ali Boukadida made the kick off in the second half. Karim Habib Benfrej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jamel al-Husain was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mohamed Ali Boukadida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oxted's Mohamed Ali Boukadida in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponteland's goalie prevented a goal. Karim Habib Benfrej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Achab having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Ali Boukadida in the 66th minute of play forced Ponteland's goalkeeper Amine Achab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Adel Salem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponteland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oxted the free kick. Slaheddine Belkhodja, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Karim Habib Benfrej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Achab having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Aymen Ben Dhia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponteland and the Oxted players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Ponteland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymen Ben Dhia to maneuver through the defense. Oxted's Ahmed Moatamri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Mokthar in the 87th minute of play. Karim Habib Benfrej could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Amine Achab made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oxted had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
