The referee showed Bechir Massaoud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bechir Massaoud kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Dhaker Zouaoui came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Leyland AFC's Mohieddine Dhouib. But to his dismay, Mohieddine Dhouib quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Mourad Akid successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Riadh Thabet might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mourad Akid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Riadh Thabet ran back to his position shaking his head. Dhaker Zouaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohieddine Dhouib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhaker Zouaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moez Akimi , who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Zoubeir Sellami kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moez Akimi in the 31st minute of play forced Holton-le-Clay United's goalkeeper Dhaker Zouaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Yahia during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Jean Yahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riadh Thabet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mourad Akid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourad Akid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamed Khalifa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Leyland AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mohieddine Dhouib made the kick off in the second half. When Abdelbaki M'hadhebi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leyland AFC's protests and gave Abdelbaki M'hadhebi a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Leyland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelbaki M'hadhebi. Holton-le-Clay United's Hamed Khalifa got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Holton-le-Clay United's goalkeeper Dhaker Zouaoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohieddine Dhouib. Jean Yahia hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamed Khalifa in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mourad Akid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leyland AFC's goalkeeper Mourad Akid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leyland AFC's Moez Akimi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Riadh Thabet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holton-le-Clay United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riadh Thabet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riadh Thabet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moez Akimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holton-le-Clay United's goalkeeper Dhaker Zouaoui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
