But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Sioud couldn't finish the play. Stamford's Issam Kasraoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Stamford from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zied Taher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabri Ben Younes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zied Taher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The Stamford players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
