Fethi Escheikh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Woking City's Fethi Escheikh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hédi Zouaoui in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sadok Bejaoui in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fethi Escheikh saved Woking City from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Woking City's zone, Sadok Bejaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fethi Escheikh came out of the goal and Sadok Bejaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chems El Ouaer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Woking City's Fethi Escheikh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hédi Zouaoui in the 29th minute of play. Fethi Escheikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hédi Zouaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fethi Escheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hédi Zouaoui in the 33rd minute of the match. When Adel Kaâbi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Woking City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adel Kaâbi couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adel Kaâbi got free with Riadh Laabidi in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mohamed Salah Neifar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woking City's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Salah Neifar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Riadh Laabidi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamad Belkhodja to make the kick off. The supporters of Woking City booed when West Kirby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaeddine Fergani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Woking City's Zoubaier Chiboub broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Kirby United's goalkeeper Riadh Laabidi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hédi Zouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woking City's Fethi Escheikh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Woking City from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Bahi Chikhaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. West Kirby United's Riadh Laabidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamad Belkhodja in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 played minutes West Kirby United got a freekick which was hit by Bahi Chikhaoui. In the 66th minute of the match Zoubaier Chiboub shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riadh Laabidi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Woking City were awarded a corner. Zoubaier Chiboub went to the cornerflag to take it. Sadok Bejaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Zoubaier Chiboub came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Woking City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoubaier Chiboub couldn't finish the play. Hédi Zouaoui struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fethi Escheikh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Kirby United. Hédi Zouaoui was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. West Kirby United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sadok Bejaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Escheikh having to interfere. Sadok Bejaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fethi Escheikh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Riadh Laabidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Kaâbi in the 80th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Woking City! Oussama Mechergui walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
