When Mondher Soliman fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Kirby United's protests and gave Mondher Soliman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, West Kirby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mondher Soliman to maneuver through the defense. Hédi Zouaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Laamari Benzekri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sadok Bejaoui in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The West Kirby United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hédi Zouaoui made the kick off in the second half. Riadh Laabidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adel Djait in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, West Kirby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahi Chikhaoui to maneuver through the defense. Riadh Laabidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adel Djait in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adel Djait in the 94th minute of play forced West Kirby United's goalkeeper Riadh Laabidi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riadh Laabidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Moatamri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
