In the 6thth minute of the game Habib Jaziri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woolwich's Mohamed Haj Kacem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Moustafa Bhar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finglesham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woolwich the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Woolwich's goal looked a bit too open when Radhi Salah came free, but Mohamed Haj Kacem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radhi Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Haj Kacem having to interfere. Woolwich's Karim Braham got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Radhi Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Haj Kacem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Woolwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Merdassi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Finglesham FC's Fatah Baccouche got control of the ball when Ali Ghariani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Woolwich's Ali Ghariani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Finglesham FC's Fatah Baccouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Braham in the 30th minute of play. Karim Braham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fatah Baccouche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Woolwich's Mohamed Haj Kacem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Jaziri in the 37th minute of play. If Karim Braham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mohamed Haj Kacem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radhi Salah in the 52nd minute of play. When Woolwich's Karim Braham in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finglesham FC's goalie prevented a goal. Radhi Salah came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mohamed Haj Kacem could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Radhi Salah fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Finglesham FC's Habib Jaziri in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
