In the 6th match minute, Mablethorpe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali BenAmor to maneuver through the defense. Mablethorpe's Aymen Abdelkader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houcine Achab in the 7th minute of play. The referee gave Mablethorpe a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zoubair Chimane , who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wickersley FC's Hassene Trabelsi. 0-1. Radhi Jennet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 24 minutes into the match, Mablethorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Radhi Jennet came free, but Aymen Abdelkader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Laabidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Karim Laabidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hassene Trabelsi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Wickersley FC's zone, Karim Laabidi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassene Trabelsi came out of the goal and Karim Laabidi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hassene Trabelsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Laabidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Hassene Trabelsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Zaairi in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Radhi Jennet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wickersley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radhi Jennet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Wickersley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Laabidi came free, but Hassene Trabelsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Wickersley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sahbi Zaairi to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes Wickersley FC got a freekick which was hit by Hédi Bargougui. After the first half Mablethorpe were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karim Laabidi was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Wickersley FC's goalkeeper Hassene Trabelsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Laabidi. Radhi Jennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chokri Bouchrara in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aymen Abdelkader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chokri Bouchrara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aymen Abdelkader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mablethorpe's Karim Laabidi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mablethorpe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
