Noureddine Bargougui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Chimane in the 29th minute of the match. Sofiène Ragued fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Bargougui having to interfere. Emir Chimane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Purbrook's Bechir Guelbi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Rehouma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zied Chikhaoui to make the kick off. Noureddine Bargougui came out of the goal and Sofiène Ragued tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sofiène Ragued struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Noureddine Bargougui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bexleyheath United. Ali Slimane charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Slimane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Purbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Slimane to maneuver through the defense. Noureddine Bargougui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofiène Ragued's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute.
